About VT Metal Roofing
VT Metal Roofing helps homeowners across Vermont find independent local contractors who install standing seam and other metal roofing. Vermont winters are hard on roofs, and the fastest path from a tired shingle roof to a metal one built for snow country is a written quote from an insured local professional.
Who operates this site
VT Metal Roofing is operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon-registered marketing company. We are not a metal roofing contractor and do not perform metal roofing work.
Compass Camper LLC operates as Compass Lead Group. You can reach us at compassleadgroup@gmail.com or (802) XXX-XXXX, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Mailing address: [OPERATOR FILLS: operating address].
What we do
We operate this website to connect Vermont homeowners with independent, insured metal roofing contractors. When you submit a quote request, your information is forwarded to a local contractor who can schedule your free quote. The contractor performs any roofing work under their own business, insurance, and warranties, and you contract with them directly. Our service costs homeowners nothing.
What we ask of contractors
Contractors who receive requests through this site are independent businesses, not our employees. We ask that they meet objective, verifiable standards:
- Maintain an active Vermont business registration, verifiable with the Secretary of State
- Carry current general liability insurance
- Offer written workmanship warranties on completed work
- Provide transparent, itemized written estimates before performing any work
Vermont does not issue a state roofing contractor license, so credentials work differently here than in license states. Residential contractors taking on larger projects must register with the Vermont Secretary of State, and any homeowner can look a business up directly through the Secretary of State's residential contractor registration program. Our guide to choosing a Vermont metal roofing contractor walks through every check we recommend, no matter how you found the contractor.
Why we built this site
Roofing information online is scattered and often unsourced. Every code, engineering, and cost claim on this site is attributed to a primary or authoritative source: the Vermont Division of Fire Safety's ground snow load tables, the Vermont Secretary of State, manufacturer technical documentation, and federal preservation guidance. If we cannot verify a number, we do not publish it. That standard applies to every region and town page on this site, from Burlington to Brattleboro.
